Gorakhpur: Emphasizing prompt and sensitive handling of public complaints, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed officials to ensure quick and effective resolution of citizens’ issues.
During his visit to Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister held a ‘Janata Darshan’ programme for the second consecutive day at the Gorakhnath Temple premises, where he personally met around 200 people and listened to their grievances.
Interacting directly with citizens, the Chief Minister reviewed their applications and referred them to concerned administrative and police officials for necessary action. He instructed officers to ensure that all complaints are addressed in a time-bound, impartial, and satisfactory manner.
Reassuring the public, he said, “Do not worry. The government will ensure an effective resolution to every problem.”

Several individuals approached the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. In response, he assured that lack of funds would not hinder anyone’s treatment and directed officials to promptly prepare estimates for required medical care so that financial aid can be provided without delay.
Women attendees also raised concerns regarding housing. Addressing them, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to providing permanent housing to all eligible beneficiaries under state and central housing schemes, and directed officials to ensure that no deserving person is left out.
The ‘Janata Darshan’ initiative continues to serve as a key platform for direct public interaction, reinforcing the government’s focus on responsive and accountable governance.
